Today we finished off our shooting script and decided to use veeras ident into for our show. We also uploaded a video of use reading out our script.
floor plan.
here is an out look of the floor plan of what the studio will be looking like for our show. So as Natalie was the one who designed the floor plan she's made it very basic in the way it's set out as there isn't enough space in the studio as a whole but because of what we want in there, like a live performance, a sofa and a desk that limits the space in there a lot more.

Today we did a script table. Four other students took the roles to read and play the role of the guests, host and narrator. Guest 1 was read by Tim, guest two was veers, host was Daisy and narrator Dimitar. From reading out the script we fixed the spelling mistakes and we also added a break after the interview to give the guest time to prepare and perform.

The location for the multicam production would be a TV Studio.
The reason being is because it is the most appropriate for the type of production we are shooting, having multiple camera setups means having the proper space in order to fit everything but also the lighting equipment as well as having the proper mixing/ editing room is mandatory and any extras such as green screen for that matter.
The theme of our production is to showcase and represent London through the different types of issues being discussed therefore it is essential to have some sort of a London theme going on and the initial idea is to either green screen a London scenery or insert a short clip representing the city.
these are some of the cameras in the room, they are big and heavy so this would be a problem because they can take up so much space. the wires that come with them would cause a problem as they can make you trip and even make some of the equipment fall if they get tangled.
this is the whole room of the tv studio and it is quite big but when it gets crowed there isn't a lot of space for people and the equipment to be moved around the room. with the amount of wires on the floor because of the cameras it can cause people to fall and even the equipment to fall as well.
this is the control room in the tv studio. problems that may occur would be tripping because of all the wires that are in there. and it could also be possible for people to trip as well because if there's too many people in the room it can get crowded.

Today we still wasn't able to film because the cameras are still down and will be for months. Some of the our ipads are having problems and some didn't have them, so we had to use laptops. For recording the multi cam show, Danielle is trying to get an app called Reco Live that we can use on the ipads as that's our only source of getting this recorded.

primary research explanation
From the primary research we see that most of the people
that answered were female and most aged 18+. There are arrange of answers for
their household income as some people didn’t know it so they guessed but nearly
all watch talk shows. From the second part most people said they watch The
Tonight Show with Jimmy Falon and The Late Late Show with James Corden, nearly
all watch crime shows. With that the people who do watch crime shows said that
they watch it sometimes. Most said yes to participating in a talk show and
answered that the most important part of a talk show and a crime show are the
conversations and storylines. What we
found was important that most people who took part to answer said they watch tv
around 9 – 12pm and said they would like the show to be on channel 4 and some
with bbc 3.

Today in our production meeting, some of the group wasn't here because they were filming for Amy so we're trying to figure out what still needs to be done. Also we wasn't able to film because two of the cameras are down and we have to use our ipads as backup but some of us didn't have our ipads so we used the laptops instead and worked on task one.

7/11/16 (second meeting)- WE ARE LONDON
Production meeting.
We discussed the format of our talk show episode and storyboarded the action on what's going to be shown for the first six shots. We spent the lesson coming up with how we want it laid out and we also named the action and drew illustrations.

25/10/16 - first meeting
Tim and Natalie pitched their ideas again to the group and discussed their similarities and differences. We chose to use Tim's original title, "We Are London" and his idea of using music to tackle crime in young people. Tim suggested to the group that we have the show be an hour long, but Danielle has informed us that our show must be 20mins long.
2/11/16
We went back into the studio as a class so we could have another run through in our groups of how to use the equipment, but there was a technical difficulty which Tom had to fix so we couldn't use any of the equipment.
1/11/16
These videos below show us playing around with the equipment before we knew anything about them, me and Timi wanted to know how it looks on the screen when you're filming the action. A little while are we were looking at the equipment, Tom came in and took us six at a time in small groups to go into the control room and told us what is what and how it works and then after he showed every about the control room, he then told us about the cameras on the floor and what is what on them.
After that Danielle then split the class in half and had a quick run through of how to use the equipment. And after like 15mins of acting, we had a run through again and then we switched so the group that was acting (me) then had a chance to either go in the control room or be on the floor and work the cameras. This gave us an idea of we how we want our show to look and who would be doing what as they we good at might stay as that role.
